Called to seek the presence of God and be a gateway of blessing to humanity
Our beliefs
Vision goals
We desire to be Christ centred in all things.
We desire the presence of God to be with us in a palpable way.
We desire to see the fulfillment of Jesus’ high priestly prayer for unity among His people (John 17).
We desire non-Christians to experience God's goodness among us and be drawn into the Kingdom of God.
We desire to proclaim and demonstrate the Kingdom of God by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We desire to be an apostolic centre resourcing the community in this area and beyond.
We desire to be a multi-racial and multi-cultural church.
Statement of faith
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons;
Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19).
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His substitutionary death on the cross for the sins of the world, His bodily resurrection and ascension to heaven and that He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead (Matt 16:16, Matt 1:23, 1 John 4:9-10, Luke 24:5-7, Eph 4:10, Rev 22:20).
We believe in the reality and ministry of the Holy Spirit; His sanctifying power to enable the Christian to live a holy life; His gifts and graces.
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8).
We believe the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation (Matt 26:28, Titus 3:5-7).
We believe that the true Church is composed of all those who have been born again of God’s Holy Spirit (John 3:3).
We believe and practice the sacraments of the Lord’s Supper and
water baptism by total immersion (1 Cor 11:23-26, Mark 1:9-11).
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit (John 1:33).
We believe that all the gifts/ministries of the Holy Spirit found in the New Testament Church should be manifest in the Church today (1 Cor 12:4-11).
We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the inspired Word of God and the only infallible rule of faith and practice (2 Tim 3:16-17).
